If you've played the original, you'll know what to expect – guns, chainsaws, grenades and buckets of blood – but if you haven't... well, you might want to brush up on your combat skills before the sequel arrives.

Indie developer Tequila Works – a studio featuring creative talent from games such as Heavy Rain, Motorstorm, Diablo III and Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow – has announced Deadlight, a decidedly dark and atmospheric action-puzzler for Xbox Live Arcade. Continuing its ongoing barrage of content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, THQ has announced that the new Dreadnought DLC - featuring an all-new multiplayer game mode – will be coming out next week, 25 January. And yes, the name does mean it'll contain a giant stomping robot of death. Because, you know, you can never too many of those.

If you're waiting for the March release of Max Payne 3 to roll round, prepare to wait a little longer - Rockstar has today pushed the game back to 18 May, two months later than originally planned. Still, look on the bright side... at least the finished product will be all the better for the delay, right?
