Review - Awesomenauts
12:07, 14th May
Part tower defence, part platform shooter, part multiplayer mayhem and all fun - this surprisingly little XBLA title might put the emphasis on online play, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a whirl. Ian Collen goes looking for intergalactic adventure and finds it in spades…

Bioshock Infinite now coming in February 2013
10:39, 10th May
It's hardly an infinite delay (ha!) but some of you might be slightly disappointed to learn that Bioshock Infinite – the much-anticipated and true follow-up to the original Bioshock – will miss its previously announced October release date and instead arrive in February 2013. Still, that's not the only bit of news that people might be a bit peeved about…
Review - Fable Heroes
12:30, 3rd May
Don't be fooled by the name or the developer; lip service aside, Fable Heroes has as much to do with the Fable series as McDonalds has to do with healthy eating and is just as unfulfilling. Martin Mathers tries hard to enjoy his time in this new take on Albion, but ends up feeling as empty as a Hollow Man's skull…
Review - Bloodforge
13:55, 27th Apr
Can a raging barbarian born in pain and blood really follow last week's stellar performance by Trials Evolution? James Wright would love to say yes but… well, he can't. And why? Because despite its gorgeous visuals, Bloodforge isn't the awesome slash-'em-up it appears to be…
Review - Trials Evolution
09:59, 20th Apr
Microsoft's Arcade NEXT event kicked off this week with the highly anticipated release of Trials Evolution, but has the series really progressed that much since 2009’s Trials HD? And would it really matter if it hasn't? Adam Musgrave straps on his helmet and shin pads to find out…
Review – The Splatters
11:36, 19th Apr
A whole mess of fun or a just a splat that needs to be cleaned off Xbox Live Arcade? Leigh Groocock gets down and dirty with SpikySnail's physics-based puzzler and finds that getting messy doesn't have to be a bad thing...

Entertainment apps free for all this weekend
09:30, 18th Apr
Seems like Microsoft's going all out to make sure that people know the Xbox 360 is now all about entertainment, rather than just gaming – this weekend sees a slew of video and music apps becoming available for all Xbox Live users, not just those who subscribe to Gold. That means free online multiplayer too, right? Er, no… actually, it doesn't. Sorry.
Review - Fez
09:01, 16th Apr
Five years in the making and multiple indie awards later, Fez is finally on Xbox Live Arcade… but has it been worth the wait? Martin Mathers wraps his head around the dimension-bending puzzler and feels all the smarter for it.
Review - Anomaly: Warzone Earth
15:17, 13th Apr
A back-to-front tower defence game where you're the attacker, not the attackee? Sounds odd, but it actually works. Brian Ashford joins the convoy and causes more than a little destruction along the way...

And thankfully, Skullgirls is here to fill that void before you pollute with something unsavoury like chips or porn or… well, you know. Skullgirls heads up XBLA update
09:26, 11th Apr
Long sitting on our most-wanted list of Xbox Live Arcade games, the indie-developed fighter that is Skullgirls finally lands on XBLA today along with The Splatters, which is as messy as the name suggests. Plus, Kinectimals on Games On Demand, new Mass Effect 3 DLC and pointless discounts on really old Call Of Duty stuff. Er… great!
Double Dragon reboot heading to XBLA
11:19, 5th Apr
Big hair, high fives and baseball bat-related violence – it can only be a reboot of the classic Double Dragon franchise and it's coming to Xbox Live Arcade thanks to developer WayForward. Because, you know, you can never have enough bro-on-bro violence, bro.
New single-player DLC incoming for Arkham City, has Robin as lead character

What, you don't know how pinball works? Fine - have another Demo'd video showing you exactly what Pinball Arcade is like. Don't say we didn't warn you though… it's pinball and it's shiny, what more did you expect?
Diabolical Pitch added to XBLA today
13:02, 4th Apr
It's a bit of a weird update to Xbox Live Arcade today, since it's hard to know who this week's games are appealing to. On one hand, there's the Kinect-only Diabolical Pitch and on the other, there's a pinball game based on real-life tables. So, unless you've got Kinect or love a spot of pinball… well, you're bang out of luck. Sorry.
