Tried it the other day and it looks and played very good. Will definitely be buying it. Does anyone know when it comes out?

Friday, I do believe. Played versus mode the other night and with eight people (we only had four), I can see it being one of my fave Live games. Probably only because of how awesome it is to play as the Tank...

i have finally convinced Tiscali to download this bloody thing and MS decide to re-jig the dashboard and i cant bloody find my demo!!!!!

Mine arrived just now. Awwwww yeah.

I'm mainly going to be playing with 3 of my mates, but would be up for a session or 2 with members from here. Would be a good laugh.

I'm still 50/50 on it, as I said before, a purely online game such as this is wasted on me at the unsocial times I play.

Holy shit is this good. I checked my inbox to see when I got the message off my friend asking me to play, 4.22pm. I got off at 10.12pm :o This game is just amazing fun, the only other game to draw a session length that long was the first night of GTA, where I free roamed from 4 till 11.

Really guys, everyone just buy it. Really just great fun. Not much I can say about it past that, really. Must buy.

But as a solo experience ?

And how important is team communication ?

Cos I've said before, the times I play are when the missus and the kids go to bed, and I can't get on the mic and "enthuse" at all, so any game featuring important team comms is fucked for me.

As a solo it'd be bland, but I don't think a mic would be necessary, in versus especially. Our 4th man went ff so we had a randomer with 3 of us, we were in a party so weren't speaking to him but he worked fine with us. Mind you I did have to leave the safehouse to go save his ass, and then a car alarm went off so we were there, running down the street with hundreds climbing the fences, me and him chucked a molotov cocktail each, and the other 2 stood at the door providing cover fire. Brilliant.

This is creeping back up my wanted list now....

Roll on birthday time next month.
