From what I can gather Trev there's the Chinese guy Kenny Haung and a Syrian called Yahya Kirdi who apparently expects the deal for him to take over the club to be done by sunday.

I was gutted Myself Fil when heard that news but typical of Sky, Why put something on freeview when they can put it on Sky and make us all pay to watch it.

Thats what I have heard too Dave. From what they have been saying on the radio, Kirdi is over here on the weekend to meet with the Liverpool owners and the Premier league so they can do thier 'fit and proper' ownership test whatever the fuck that is.
On Villa, 5live radio also said that over O'neills 4 year reign he had the second highest nett spend on transfers. It is looking like the sale of Milner of which he was not going to get any of the transfer money to spend, though he was getting Ireland thrown in (not a bad player imho), also the possible sale of Young to Spurs were the final straw.

I can't understand why City want to get rid of Ireland, A couple of seasons ago he carried them and gets a good amount of goals from midfield. I honestly think he would make it into the starting eleven of most teams in the premier league.
I agree hes a fantastic player (Ireland), but he's obviously not in Mancini's plans. I think DeJong and Yaya Toure (£220,000 per week) will get the CM starting roles, lets not forget Barry, Viera and Boateng (bit more versatile) all probably come before Ireland in Mancini's eyes....
Here's how i see the season going.
1. Man City (if not this seaon then it's NEVER gonna happen)
2. Chelsea
3. Man UTD ( Hate typing them words)
4. Liverpool (I hope)
5. Tottenham
6. Arsenal.
4th place could easily finish in 6th though.
Mancini has to have a good start or he will be gone come october, then Martin O'neil will walk the City Path. They have the players but can they now work as a unit?.
Liverpool ahhhhh..... the first 3 games of the new season will give a good indication how they will do confidence wise. Fingers XX
Hopes...
1. Liverpool
2. Man City
3. Chelsea
4. Spurs
5. Arsenel
6. Blackburn
...
19. Everton
20. Man Utd
