Over the last few days Ive noticed certain words in everybodys posts are high lighted! witch then directs me to some site selling shit

Is this something Ive installed on my computer or is everybody getting them?
or is it some sort of advertising that the site is promoting? if so i would like to start a campaign to get it removed because it is bloody annoying

i use ipod so havent noticed anything. probably some setting on a search toolbar?

nothing on mine Pedro...i use the blue view of the forum...seen that shite on other sites...well annoying...i have pop ups turned off in my search bar...maybe that will help???....m8....

Sounds like Malware. I'm not having those issues on my computer, but a bit of Malware on your rig will turn every site into an advertising nightmare.

Run a virus checker/spyware/malware program.

Nothing like that when I'm using the forums.... Computer.

I installed winrar over the weekend, i think that had something to do with it

Hmmm...? Winrar shouldn't do that? I usually use 7zip for those files.

Probably best to run a virus scan anyway.

Which is pretty handy actually, as "virus scan" is probably highlighted on his screen to redirect him to one.
