Not so technical help
alrightey, the good lady and I are moving in together soon and i was wondering what that'l mean for Live. we've got internet access in the new place already but what do i need to do before my 360 will work online?

Re: Not so technical help
Setup and ISP - (Internet service provider)
Are you on your own internet atm? If you are you need to ask them to move it to your new home, this can take upto 3 weeks. XBL will work if you can connect to the internet. Untill you get your ISP rerouted to your to your new home you wont get internet access. Unless you use dial up but then XBL wont work anyways. ANyproblems let me know. Re: Not so technical help
No it won't mess up settings, unless you've manually configured your 360? If not then the router at your new place will assign your xbox an ip address via DHCP, then when you go back to your old place your router there will just do the same again.
