age ratings
it feels like all the good games, like the GTA series, GoW, GoW2, dead rising, hitman blood money, and so on are rated 18+
and i'm not 18 so im pissed of because i cant get them, even though ive played them, and when i do hit 18 probably wont play the ones out now because when i am 18 different ones will be out and they'le it feels like im blocked from playing it forever. yeah they might be bloody, bad language or so on but that the the fun of them, there arent many that are like it apart from fable 2 i think they should just be warned of the content but not so strict on age. it should probably be banned. whats youre opinion |

Just order them on the internet. edit: OK, my gamercard isn't showing up for some reason, but I assure you that it's awesome. Better than Dredds. ![]() I might look like Robert Ford But I feel just like a Jesse James. |

RE: age ratings
Im so glad that many under 18s cant buy them, many a lobby has been spoilt by a 12 yr old geek trying to do the "bridge glitch" instead of reviving a fallen comrade or squealing when they head shot you in cod4/5 while their juggernaut is equipped next to their 9th prestige badge...Anyway as with dvd and film classification most games are now almost playable movies therefore a line has to be drawn between where violence and bad language rates higher than whether little johnny is going to be dissapointed with not being allowed to play. Some say violence affects gamers and i believe it will affect one or two of many millions but the games industry has to follow law and operate an age rating system which i totally agree with. now be off with you you cheeky scamp and go and play Wii cook.

RE: age ratings
If you want to play games because you find bad language and bloodyness amusing, then thanks goodnes you can't play them.
I've played my fair share of 18+ games in my many years, and not once have I ever got off on the bad language or violence in them. I can appreciate them for being in the game, but that;s not what makes a game fun. Dead Space for example, it's possibly one of the most bloody things I've played recently, but I recently described it to a mate, and I realised at the end I hadn't even mentioned the fact that you can shoot limbs off. How old are you exactly ? If you want to play games just to experience bad language and violence, then you need to reassess why you play in the first place. ...or just hang around these forums..... ...cos what Dill gamercard doesn't show, is that he's a c*nt.
