Rainbow 6 vegas
How to start..hmmm...well I bought vegas as im in a clan and graw was getting tiresome and old and it was suggested we all buy r6v to keep us interested,We all did now only about 3 of us outta 10 play it online!..hence the point of this thread.

With my gaming time being limited due to working shifts,2 kids and a cat+the mrs I nearly always play online against me pals,But last night I decided id actually play single player(not somthing I get time to do)and tbh It has to go down as what of me fav nights on the 360,I couldent put the game down for like 4 hours constant gaming(bear in mind Im at work at 0630 for 12 hours in the morning)I was playing on realistic as I thought I was a bit special at the game!,
How superb is this game single player from the hostage situations to working out the best way to enter and clear a room packed with terrerists whom have a 1 shot kill shotgun, who to tell me bods to take out upon entering the rooms, what cover was closest, this may sound dull to some peeps to whom I appalgise, but having never really got into black arrow etc Id never expericenced a game quite like it before, yes you can order your team about in graw but there useless these guys are quite intelligent if u giv em decent enough cover to take,I actually had to use me brain instead of running around aimlesly dancing in front of opponents online,Only after 3 cans and a (special) fag did I finally give in a go to bed reluctantly(and only cause I couldent see)
But I shall continue me quest to complete this game this week and quite frankly I dont want it to end,In my opinion(not worth alot ino) this is one of the most satisfying games ive EVER played single player a big hats off to ubisoft Smile

Re: Rainbow 6 vegas
I couldn't agree more mate..! I Own all the Rainbow 6 games there are, and without a doubt, Vegas is special. Must admit tho, i play single player more than i do on live, I work the same hrs as u Peacemaker, and when i get home its just me and my 360,( Thankfully i got a Mrs who doesn't mind this, and Kids who just sit and watch..!) To start with tho, Vegas comes across as one of the hardest games there is, but when you get use to it, it seems to become easier..! I'm seriously lovin it...! But i have got 1 question...
Where has "Ding Chaves" gone...?
( He was the main character in the other Rainbow 6 games for those who don't know..!)

Resistance is Futile......!

Re: Rainbow 6 vegas
unfortunatly the kids either wanna sit on me lap or i have to give em the (unplugged) controller and tell the lil buggers how good there doing...
I dont know were the ding bod is or for that matter whom he is,but if he is from past rainbow games maybe he retired!..and he is living it up on a beach in like bali or somewhere.
Im more concered with the 2 bods i was in mexico with on the 1st mission one got shot n everything but in all the casino hype Id kinda forgot about them.....im sure they will turn up somewhere hopefully alive,or maybe we will have to give ding a call.

Re: Rainbow 6 vegas
I think the 2 blokes from Mexico were caught by the terrorists, so its a case of findin them in the last few missions..! If i ever get that far...!

Yes i also only got this game last week and i am playing it on normal (which i am finding it hard enough) lol, yes i have to complete it on realistic (already completed it on co-op, but that doesnt show you the story sequence) lol, which i was actually quite dissapointed in, im at the end of dante casino with all the snipers ect lol hopfully ill complete it soon. lol.

RE: Rainbow 6 vegas
i thought the single player was really boring to the point of not being worth the trouble compared to coop and multi

I might look like Robert Ford
But I feel just like a Jesse James.

I have just returned to R6V2 because i'm waiting for my new game Fallout 3 to arrive. After playing both GOW2 and COD5 on the insane levels i'm astonished to find just how good R6V2 is. As I finished it originally on the nuts level i'm now working my way through terrorist hunt on the bonkers level. SWEET!
Which brings me to a point I would like to make. There are just far to many grade A games on the market for the average gamer to finish them all and fully appreciate the millions of pounds spent on them and the subtleties they contain.
As you rightly say we all have life commitments which lets be honest really do get in the way of serious gaming pleasure.
I just hope and pray that the people who make these wonderous titles don't start dumbing down the playing expierience because they suddenly realise no one has the time to fully appreciate the time and effort that has been put in to make the games as involving as they are.
Regards.
