The most important weekend of the season...so far.
There are some massive games this weekend, absolutely no margin of error for:
Man Utd or Chelsea, Milan, or Barce. The pick of the bunch is Man Utd vs Liverpool at 13:30. Chelsea will almost certainly win against Blackburn so Utd cant afford to slip up. Liverpool need to win to keep up the race for 4th place. I'm a bit busy to go into detail about them now but I just thought I'd post the links to watch the games freeeeeee!!!: http://livetv.ru/en/ and/or http://www.realstreaming.net/ Real streaming Just search for it using the links, I'm sure you can work it out... You may have to download a 'sopcast' codec thing first, and the best streams may be in a foreign language but hey, its better than paying Rupurt Murdoch a sbscription fee...

It's between you and Man City. We won't do it now, and I don't think Villa will.

Man U deserved that game. Villa are a hopeless long ball team so that leaves a big battle for 4th between Liv, City and Spurs. My money is on Spurs......
Milan drew so its as you were in Serie A.... Barce won so its as you were in La Liga.... However Utd won and Chelsea drew so the upper hand goes to Man U. This is an amazing 3 horse race. I'm lookinging forward to developments in all 3 leagues and will post any relavent news....

Villa are not a 'hopeless long ball team'. Villa play the long ball when they are losing in a game and there is not long left but most teams play route one when their backs to the wall.
Take the last game against Wolves as a prime example, both of Carew's goals were hit in from under five yards and began with runs into the box. Many more of our season goals came from MIlner or Youngs crosses into the box. I think Villa have got a great chance of hitting 4th if they don't throw silly points away against the likes of Wolves! ![]() For all your latest multiplatform game news, reviews, previews and features: Check it out: http://www.theplayvault.com |

My money is still on spurs. And I really don't think Liverpool have enough left to do it. And as a Kopite, it really pains me to say that.

Ok perhaps I was a bit harsh on Villa, I'd love them to beat Chelsea and win the FA cup, but I have noticed that without Agbonlahor they play a lot more direct... We'll see over the next few games what they're made of.

RE: The most important weekend of the season...so far.
As much as I'd love Spurs to finish 4th they have a hardish run in, portsmouth, sunderland, ARSEnal, Chelsea, man utd, bolton, man city, burnley.
Liverpool have the easiest with, sunderland, birmingham, fulham, west ham, burnley, chelsea, hull. Man city have everton, wigan, burnley, birmingham, man utd, ARSEnal, villa, spurs, west ham. Villa have sunderland, chelsea, bolton, everton, portsmouth, hull, birmingham, man city, blackburn. I actually see us finishing 6th behind Liverpool 4th, Villa 5th, apart from the 4 hard games we have, there is also the problem of a lack of strikers due to injury at the moment so even the so called easier games may not be wins. Nothing personal Trev, but I would love it if Liverpool finished outside of the top 4, if nothing else to see the back of Rafa.
