Ashes To Ashes
I loved Life on mars and the first series of ATA and i watched the first episode of the second series and so far, so good!

Really gripping with the story again, the writers are drip-feeding the audience what is really going no with the world and the reason for her and in LOM Sam Tyler being there.

I've read rumours too that he could possibly return for the close of this series as this series explains why and how they are trapped in the 70's for Life on Mars and the 80's for Ashes to Ashes.

Anyone else like it?

if you say no... two words. Keeley Hawes.... (NIIIIIIICE!)

RE: Ashes To Ashes
I kept missing the first series, but I've caught up with it all.

It's really good, I loved Life on Mars as well. The only thing I don't like is that for someone trapped possibly in their own mind, there seems to be a lot of people who know about her problems who are introduced in the first 5 minutes. We never find out who they are until the end.

RE: Ashes To Ashes
The guy who knows Alex is there is a great actor, don't you think? Daniel Mays: I watched Plus 1 and Shifty and he was in both of those. Shifty the indipendent British film about 'gritty realism' of life of drug dealers is frankly, rubbish.

Don't bother watching it, nothing happens...

RE: Ashes To Ashes
Loved the new episode the other night.
You know though there is no way Gene Hunt should be driving a quattro, he would have been driving a 3.0litre capri S! Big Grin

RE: Ashes To Ashes
Only 2 to go now.
Although this series seems to have been a cost cutting series (in that there is not so much outdoor action) its still been a corker of a series, and can't wait for the finale.
Good stuff Big Grin
