RE: Giving away 4000 Microsoft Points
I think that first part doesn't apply Joe, as that is in place more for a situation where if you let your cousin play on your profile, and he does something that gets you a LIVE suspension, you can't then go and say, "but it wasn't me", as the responsibility for correct usage of your account rests solely with you.
It's the second part that I reckon this whole thing infringes upon. And I haven't tried it yet, but I think I've came to the conclusion that it's bullshit. Let me explain. I switched to the wife's profile on my xbox (yes, she has one - last game played : Tomb Raider, 2 years ago) and although all the arcade game I bought through my account are there for her to play, they are only as trials. Now, that'll be the exact same situation here. If I go and buy an arcade game with the new gamertag DaviDas offers, I can't then go and play it on my own profile, as it isn't tied to it. Similarly, DLC must work in the same way. Yes, it's probably a genuine account filled with 4000 points, yes it'll work, but you'll only get the benefit of anything bought with those 4000 points if you play through that profile. As I say, still haven't done anything to check if that is the case, but that's how I think it'll work.
