Dredd - I'm guessing this isn't your first console - and that you've had a failure? Sounds like you need to run the licence transfer tool from the xbox live website. It'll mean you can run all games from all profiles without being online. You can only run this tool once every 12 months.

Just google "xbox licence transfer tool" for the migration instructions.
