Yeah, unfortunately, this is precisely what happens when you have control devices which are pitched at people who wouldn't usually play games. It's the same thing that's happened with the Wii, and it's the same thing that happened with the EyeToy last generation - the people who buy them don't really have any reference points by which to judge such titles.

Still, after watching the E3 press conference, I have to say it could have been a lot worse. I had a really nasty feeling Turn 10 was going to announce PGR5 for Kinect when Dan Greenwalt stepped out onto the stage. And apart from Forza Kinect, none of the other games announced are the sort of shit I'd play anyway.
