Hopes / predictions for new season
As the title suggests heres my early ones.
Top 4 in order Chelsea Man utd Liverpool Man City Think Arsenal will finish 5th, Spurs unfortuately 6th. Relegation in no order Blackpool Wigan Bolton On a slightly different note, was shocked the other week to learn Raul had left Real Madrid. Thought he would be there for life, must be Mourinho's charm.

RE: Hopes / predictions for new season
I can't see anyone taking the title off Chelsea I'm sorry to say. Despite their poor pre-season form...
1. Chelsea 2. Utd 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool 5. Spurs 6. City For Arsenal fans I think Spurs and Liverpool will be much more of a threat than City and it'll be the last we see of Mancini on these shores...

RE: Hopes / predictions for new season
Here is my predictions:-
Mancini to be the first manager sacked. Chealsea to win the premier league. Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool to get Champions League places. Blackpool, West Brom and Newcastle to get relegated. My hopes totally differ from that as I want Liverpool to win the league (can't see that though). I have just checked the BBC sport website I can't belive O'Neill has quit as Villa manager.

RE: Hopes / predictions for new season
Hopes: Alex Fergusons big red nose to fuck off into retirement, along with the rest of him. Roy Hodgson to be knighted for bringing Liverpool the double. All money from the Arab states to magically disappear.

RE: Hopes / predictions for new season
Some interesting thoughts there.
Like the idea of Drogba being deported, and Pedro I'm with Ryan, spurs won't make it out of the group stages (actually think they likely to finish bottom). Dave, I'm a bit shocked with the timing of O'neill, though he was strongly rumoured to have wanted out at the end of last season. I'm guessing another Amercian owner with no money.

RE: Hopes / predictions for new season
I get the feeling Villa are loosing money quite badly, I heard they were 3rd in the league for financial losses last season behind City and Chelsea, don't quote me on that but I saw it on Sky Sports news a few weeks back. O'neils departure may indicate trouble behind the scenes financially... (Sorry Jon, just a thought anyway!
)And what the fuck is the deal with Sky Sports News being cancelled from FreeView?? It was the only half decent thing on there, I'll be fucked if I'm paying for Sky if the only thing I wanna watch is Soccer Saturday .....
