I can't say that I have any feelings about it either way to be honest, But as swifty said it may be a better idea to have it every 4 years instead of every 2.

Been a while so missed all this. Shame as I'd like to have wound you up a bit Dave! I thought Suarez deserved a 16 match ban and a night in the stocks.

Oh and Dredd, why have you copied my Fantasy Footy team virtually man-for-man?! It's quite clearly the best but c'mon!

Exsqueeze me ?

A baking powder ?

I think you'll find, young man, that you copied me, as our positions in the table confirm.

Besides, great minds think alike and all that etc etc.

It'd be better yes - I guess it's the club vs country debate again. But if some guys want to earn £50k per week they can't expect their employer to be happy when they fuck off for a month to play against Sierra Leone or Egypt mid season

Anyway, Carroll back to Newcastle for £10m? lol

The story says so much about our wonderful media. Despite the fact there is absolutely no evidence to back up this ludicrous story it satisfies the media's requirements. Facts - No; Evidence - No; Good Headline - Yes
then stick it in the paper!

This is almost as stupid as The Independents "Utd to let Rooney go" headline. The idiot journalist hack was interviewed on 5live the night before it published and he was virtually forced to admit he had absolutely no evidence but had just read between the lines, put 2 and 2 together and come up with 426.

I only hope Leveson forces newspapers to print corrections in the same amount of coverage for every bullshit story they print.

Ah Svennis, you dreamer you. Big Grin

FWIW I totally agree; but it won't happen.

I can't recall the exact story - but the Daily Mail was forced to issue an apology on a story it ran. The story itself covered several pages; the apology was maybe 10 lines....
