I rarely play anything long enough to completion to be able to write anything.

It's all time for me - I just don't have enough of it to be able to get into a game for long enough to finish it and form a written opinion of it in a timely fashion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not begrudging you your fame, I just wouldn't like to be talked about behind my back like you get.....

While I don't have an Xbox 360 (I have the original which I brought about a year ago) I'm sure that I could write a review for any multi-platform game that I can get my grubby little mitts on, or if you need someone for PS3 reviews.

Though I do tend to waffle...

Also, while you say word count is around 300 words, is there a character count? as this would be far more precises, otherwise I might have to use long words like Floccinaucinihilipilification... Ummm maybe not that one.... but I'm sure that I could find a few long words to push the space boundary for the review. =]

Ah, well character counts are used in other areas of the magazine but trust me - having a word count instead is far better if you don't want to spend a long time editing. If a count is, say, 300 words then 316 words won't cause that much of an issue. If you really want to do something supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus then by all means do so. Problems arise when someone writes something that flows well but for well over the count and so I can't just delete some words without, as SampleBlack suffered, a loss in style and/or full meaning. Sorry about that. A review full of long words will just hurt peoples heads, though. And while being overly clever about games can be all very post-modern and all that, it can make me want to rip a gibbon's face off.

Once I actually get around to testing the old consoles I'll work out how to give away the ones that still work. There's a battered box next to me full of cables, consoles, and the odd game or two that I need to check because it takes up space and I'm getting too old and am too married to carry them around with me for the rest of my life. Should have checked before mentioning them, really, but then I am a pro crastinator.

Being I write reviews for a site I run alongside a bunch of friends, I don't usually considering word counts, but if I post any here I will take into account the 250 word limit (and try and get as close to it as possible).
