I agree with the slow pot boiler of the first 4 or 5 episodes of Caprica. There were at least 2 instances in that time I thought about stopping watching, but I'm glad I stuck it out, as it's proving to be fantastic.

Such a shame that the MTV generation couldn't be arsed investing the time in it, and it was also incredibly bold of Caprica to ask that of it's viewers, knowing the risks.

If it had continued, it would have been a blinding series.

Too much rides on these series now sadly - to be a real slow burner you need to be able to do it on the cheap. If you have a larger budget then the execs want 'instant' results
