V8 Supercars
For Dave & Dredd, plus anyone else who may be following this awesome series, MotorsTV is having contractural issues, which means they can't show the races. Apparently they hope to have the situation resolved soon, but they have already missed two rounds. I only thought to check the MotorsTV forums when my recording this week became some German GT racing! Sad

Yeah, it's never nice when you find that touring car race you wanted to watch is given the elbow in favour of a GT race. I know GT racing has its fans, but the length of the races coupled with the fact almost all the cars are privateers (who inevitably don't want to have to pay for expensive repairs) tends to make for boring racing.

I can't imagine manufacturers WANT to pay for expensive repairs! Big Grin

RE: V8 Supercars
Well, as you so kindly (and probably rightly) blamed me for the contractual issues, being that before i started watching it, coverage was fine, but as soon as I get into it, they have problems, I hereby publicly declare to all the tv schedulers who check this forum, and I KNOW they must given the coincidences on here, that I will never watch another Aussie V8 race again.

RE: V8 Supercars
Ok, apparently the issues have been resolved. The New Zealand round (rd 3 I think) was shown yesterday (Saturday) so we've missed it. Apparently Perth will be shown on Tuesday evening, and this weekends from Phillip Island will be shown on Saturday 26th, with the schedule reverting to normal i.e. the races are shown a week later.

RE: V8 Supercars
Not likely. They haven't been able to update EPG's.
