Since the announcement of a US release of the Xbox 360 Elite a few weeks back, rumours have been flying around about when the machine is going to land its sleek black shoes in the UK. Guestimates are what these rumours have been at best.
However, as Friday afternoon starts to draw to a close, the news of the week hits our desks, as unconfirmed reports suggest the Elite wont arrive 'til November.
A few phonecalls later, and we're informed that the Microsoft has been making pubishers aware of the UK release date over the last week. While Microsoft representatives have been unavailable to comment, the information is as solid as can be when it's still technically a rumour.
However, what this also does is stamp the second class citizen debate right at the top of gaming forum agendas over the weekend. Do we really have to wait until November for the same thing the US get six months previous?
