What, you're still here? You clicked through instead of listening to our advice and downloading Fez right away? Gah, fine. Your loss. But while you're here, we can at least tell you what you're missing out on.
Released on Xbox Live Arcade today for just 800 Microsoft Points, Fez is hard to quantify. Yes, it's a platform adventure where you control Gomez, a 2D man in a supposedly 2D world… until he discovers that there's actually a third dimension and ends up breaking the universe. Yes, it's a puzzle game because you have to use spacial awareness and your ability to rotate the world to navigate levels, grab hexahedron fragments and generally save the day. And yes, it's a wonderfully constructed retro-style game with pixel graphics and a chiptune to die for. It's all this and more… and it's yours to grab now.
Well, providing you pay for it, that is.
But then, why wouldn't you? We've already told you it's great, so that should be enough. And we'll no doubt tell you again once our review goes up. In the meantime though, here's the Demo'd video that we already posted a while back just to remind you that we're generally right about these things. As for you... well, shouldn't you be downloading something by now?
