Depending on how closely you follow the regular updates that Xbox Live Arcade gets, you might have missed The Splatters. It's a physics-based puzzle game that involves getting blobs of colour to explode all over the landscape and is as tricky as it is addictive – if you want more detail, try reading our review by clicking here. In short though, it's pretty good and deserves more attention than it got, which is why this week's Deal Of The Week might be perfect for a lot of people...
Starting today, The Splatters will have its price slashed from the original 800 Microsoft Points all the way down to just 400 MSP - that's 50 per cent off in case you can't do maths. That means you can pick it up for the same price as two and a half Rock Band songs, one third the price of the Gears Of War 3 season pass or way, way less than a Call Of Duty Elite membership. Hurrah! And best of all, it'll last you a while too… after all, getting the top score on each of the levels isn't going to be something you'll do on the first try.
So, to sum up: good game, half price, worth getting. Hardly difficult to understand, is it?
