Final Fantasy XIII-2 does the monster mash in these new screens and video

Curse you, Final Fantasy XIII-2 - curse you for looking so pretty and making us want you so badly. Every time we get over our cravings to play you, Square-Enix shoves another trailer under our noses to make us swoon or a pile of new screenshots for us to salivate over.
This time, it's a look at how monster hunting (not to be confused with Monster Hunter) plays a key role in Final Fantasy XIII-2's battles, as you can use skills to capture monsters and then have them fight on your side instead. Abilities can be increased, special moves can be used and... well, it's all explained in the trailer below, so have a watch. Needless to say, we've never felt like picking up a Pokémon game more.
Oh, and there are new screens below too, although they're slightly less interesting due to them not showing much that we haven't seen before. Still, any image of a giant Cactuar prancing around is good in our books.
