Perhaps to make up for last week's total lack of content, there's a decent level of stuff hitting Xbox Live Arcade today: Choplifter HD and AMY both take centre stage in the downloadable games section, while the Deal Of The Day is all about tower defence and games of a strategic nature AND the Final Fantast XIII-2 demo arrives. Don't go hoping for anything decent from Games On Demand though; there's really nothing there worth bothering with.

You might not have played the original Choplifter (unless you're old like us), but that's no reason not to give this HD reboot a chance. Martin Wharmby flies low under Konami's radar to see if it's worth extracting from the war zone or should be left behind instead...

You know how we said that Gotham City Impostors was meant to be out on XBLA next week? Well, turns out it's not - instead, it's been pushed back to a nondescript date in February, presumably to iron out the kinks that may have been revealed during the recent beta. Still, it's not like February's a long time away, right?

Konami has enlisted the help of the world's biggest ass-kicker, Duke Nukem, for the release of its next XBLA title, Choplifter HD. Does Duke actually know how to fly a helicopter? We're not sure. But we're going to find out when the game arrives later on this winter…
