Gears of War: Judgment is a strange game. After three generation-defining blockbusters, it’s odd that a fourth outing is squeezed into the end of the 360’s life with a far shorter development cycle than any of the numbered sequels and no Marcus Fenix in the main role.

We have to admit that we spent a fair while wrestling with ourselves about how to score Gears of War 3. We could easily have taken the negative route and started docking points for its obvious flaws. Yes, it’s linear and largely repetitive. Yes, it’s almost exactly the same as both Gears 1 and 2. Yes, it still insists upon a rather bland palette of browns and greys. And yes, we can see why not every gamer (or reviewer) will be as intoxicated by the whole experience as so many others clearly are.

A new mutiplayer trailer for Gears of War: Judgment has just been released, detailing all the new modes, maps, weapons and bonus Prizebox rewards. However, the jovial nature of the trailer has been overshadowed slightly by news of a leaked copy of the game, and the threat of Microsoft's wrath for all who touch it.

It may be the last piece of downloadable content for Gears Of War 3 (for the foreseeable future, anyway) but that doesn't mean Epic's just thrown it out there without putting some effort into it. Martin Wharmby digs into the final map pack and discovers that sometimes, a spot of bad weather really can make all the difference.

The Gears Of War 3 Season Pass finally gets its last piece of free downloadable, with Epic announcing that the Forces Of Nature DLC will arrive on 27 March. Another day, another daily discount deal for you to buy - this time, it's one for fans of Gears Of War 3. Not that there's much to interest you, of course, since the chances of you already having everything on offer is pretty high. Plus, really expensive guns skins! Yes, there's more DLC coming for Gears Of War 3. No, Epic won't stop drip-feeding you content like some evil jailer delivering water torture. Yes, it's a selection of multiplayer maps that all tie rather neatly into Marcus Fenix's history. No, we're not GoW3 haters. Oh, wait... actually, we are. Sorry.
