The release date for GTA V has finally been unveiled - but it's not what you might have been expecting. Rather the previously announced 'Spring 2013' window we were given, the game has been pushed back to 17 September. Extra development time = good. Waiting = bad.

Two failed release dates and two beta tests later, Warner Bros has finally decided that the release date for Monolith's rather awesome FPS take on the Batman universe, Gotham City Imposters, is 8 February. Yes, that's next week. Yes, that's really soon. And yes, it's okay to start getting excited right about… now.

Although Capcom's announcement about Dragon’s Dogma release date sees it pushed back to May, the good news is that there's a tempting incentive to buy it. What is it? Well, how about the chance to go hands-on with Resident Evil 6 a full 60 days before any other platform? Sounds pretty good to us…

Does the news that there's no news on a release date for a game really qualify as news? Probably not. But hey, since RedLynx has very kindly come out and said that they're still not ready to say when it'll be releasing Trials Evolution - the long-awaited sequel to Trials HD - the least we can do is tell you about it. Well, actually, the least we could do is nothing, but hey...

Maybe it's just us getting old, but we're pretty sure that Namco Bandai had already said that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was getting a home console release. Still, it's all official now - there's even an announcement trailer to prove it. And if THAT'S not enough proof, we don't know what is.

Did you know that Final Fantasy XIII-2 is already out in Japan? Well, it is and Square-Enix is more than a little delighted at how it's been received - so much so, in fact, that it's pushed out a small selection of new screenshots and even a trailer to celebrate. Obviously, we'd have preferred a more traditional cake/presents combo, but that's just us.
