Despite the fact that the original instalment of ToeJam & Earl is now over 21 years old, it was still way ahead of its time when Greg Johnson and Mark Voorsanger rolled it out on the MegaDrive.

Has Sega's games archive sprung a leak of something? With 12 classic games updated for Xbox Live Arcade arriving in the last two weeks, we're thinking they might finally be capitalising on having such a huge back catalogue of awesomeness. Plus, Ubisoft's Mad Riders is here, along with a huge amount of discounts for Popcap titles and two fairly decent new Games On Demand.

That has to be some kind of a record, doesn't it? A total of seven games have arrived on Xbox Live Arcade this morning as part of the weekly update, although to call them new would be a mistake - mainly because six of them are games that were around when we were young. Not that we're complaining, of course, but anyone looking for titles that take advantage of the 360's hardware might be a little disappointed...
