With the Xbox Live Arcade House Party now underway, this week's XBLA update brings just one new game to the table – Warp – while the Deal Of The Day focuses exclusively on Batman: Arkham Asylum. Plus, a smattering of DLC for UFC Undisputed 3 in preparation for tomorrow's launch and... well, not much else. Rather uninspiring, isn't it?

It's a pretty awesome week on Xbox Live Arcade as two rather lovely titles – Gotham City Impostors and Shank 2 – arrive for download on top of The Simpsons Arcade Game that appeared slightly earlier than planned last Friday. Deal Of The Week, meanwhile, goes all Crimson Alliance and Harry Potter's best game hits Games On Demand. Plus, cheap Square-Enix downloadables!

Another slice of Demo'd action as last week's Xbox Live Arcade word jumble Quarrel gets put to the test. Seems that developer RedLynx might have sprung a leak over the weekend, as code for Trials Evolution – the long-awaited sequel to Trials HD – ended up hitting torrent sites across the Internet. And yes, that's most definitely a bad thing. But hey, look on the bright side... maybe that means it's closer to release than we thought, yes?

Indie developer Tequila Works – a studio featuring creative talent from games such as Heavy Rain, Motorstorm, Diablo III and Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow – has announced Deadlight, a decidedly dark and atmospheric action-puzzler for Xbox Live Arcade.
