Hungarian publisher Digital Reality has announced that the Xbox Live Arcade-exclusive shoot-'em-up Sine Mora will be blasting on to the Xbox Live Marketplace on 21 March for a premium price of 1,200 points.
The game – developed in conjunction with Suda 51's Grasshopper Manufacture studio – aims to reinvent the side-scrolling shoot-'em-ups of old by setting the action in a high-flying steampunk environment and, from what we've seen, it does a pretty good job of it. Boasting 60 different combination of planes, characters and 'manipulation devices' (their words, not ours), it looks like longevity and replay value is the key here, especially when you factor in all those high scores that you need to beat along the way.
While we've never been great fans of the 'bullet hell' genre, the ‘From Dust to Dust‘ trailer below looks pretty damn special, showing as it does gameplay footage mixed with Akira Yamaoka’s musical score for the title (in case you don't know, Yamaoka is more recognised for his epic scores on such games as Shadow Of The Damned and the Silent Hill series).
