Babel Rising bring angry god antics to XBLA

Take note: if we ever become a god, we're not going to be very nice. After all, where's the fun in making gentle breezes blow across a field of flowers or marvelling at a tear on the cheek of a tiny child? For us, it's all about tossing lightning bolts with gay abandon and smiting anyone that even looks at us the wrong way. Until that day comes though (and it WILL come, believe us), we'll just have to make do with games like Babel Rising for our fireball-tossing, volcano-creating, people-squashing fix.

In moving the iOS app of the same name into the realm of Xbox Live Arcade, Mando Productions has taken Babel Rising into 3D and added more complexity to your angry god antics. Yes, the concept remains the same – lowly mortals are busy building a tower to reach you, so you need to stop them by using all your godly powers to punish them utterly – but since you can now access all 360˚ of the tower, you'll have your work cut out trying to keep the building work to a minimum. From what we've seen, it looks pretty hectic and since it works with the Kinect too, you might even get a bit of a workout into the bargain.
